Our team at Genuine Care Dental is committed to providing excellent dental care in a comfortable environment where you can relax and feel at ease. Below, you will find what to expect at your first appointment, from booking your visit to your first exam.
We accept all major PPO insurances, and you can pay by credit card, check, or cash. We also offer financing through Cherry and CareCredit. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept HMO insurance.
Book online, call (408) 753-9955, or send a text, whichever is easiest for you. If you need to change or cancel, please let us know at least two business days ahead, so we can offer your time to another patient who is waiting.
What to expect
Once you book, we will send you a link to your new patient forms, including a short health questionnaire. Please finish them at least two business days before your visit. When you arrive, check in from the link on your phone.
Initial examination
Your first exam takes about one hour, or about two hours if a cleaning is included. We take the time to get to know you and your health, then show you simple ways to care for your teeth at home and explain what we recommend.
Pain concerns
Comfort comes first. Dr. Rong will meet with you to talk about pain before a procedure and plan your care around it. We numb the area, and sedation options, including nitrous oxide and IV sedation, are there if you feel anxious.
Dental insurance
We accept all major PPO insurances. If you are not sure whether your plan is included, tell us your insurer and we will happily help you find out. If you do not have dental insurance, ask us about our in-house membership plan.
Financial policy
We want everyone to get the care they need, with or without insurance. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and financing through CareCredit and Cherry, and we offer an in-house membership plan for patients without insurance.
